Services and TreatmentsCardiac Stress TestsA cardiac stress test measures the flow of blood to the heart at rest and during periods of stress with the aid of EKG monitoring. Medicine can be used to simulate the effects of exercise for patients who are unable to exercise sufficiently. Our in-house test is helpful in diagnosing coronary disease and in determining the severity of a patient’s known coronary disease. Doctors are also able to help ascertain those at high and low risk. |

New Electronic Medic...On November 1, 2011, New Hanover Medical Group, a NHRMC Physician Group practice, successfully transitioned to a new electronic medical record system to better serve you. It is called NHRMC Connect. NHRMC Connect replaces NHMG’s existing electronic medical record, further enhancing the patient experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
