Dr. J. Todd Kornegay, M.D
Specialty: Internal Medicine Coming from a family of rural-based physicians in Duplin County, Dr. Kornegay has a passion for primary care and prevention of disease. He received his Bachelor’s degree from East Carolina University in 2002, followed by both medical school and residency at the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. Since graduating from residency in 2009, Dr. Kornegay has been part of the ECU Physicians Faculty as Chief Resident for the Department of Internal Medicine. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and an affiliate of the American College of Physicians. Dr. Kornegay and his wife, Jennifer, reside in the Hampstead area.

New Electronic Medic...On November 1, 2011, New Hanover Medical Group, a NHRMC Physician Group practice, successfully transitioned to a new electronic medical record system to better serve you. It is called NHRMC Connect. NHRMC Connect replaces NHMG’s existing electronic medical record, further enhancing the patient experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
