Our PhysiciansCentral Office - 1960 South 16th StreetDeborah S. Carter, M.D.Specialty: Family Medicine Dr. Carter is originally from Indianapolis, Indiana. She received her Doctor of Medicine degree from University of North Carolina and completed her residency in Family Medicine at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC. She is Board certified in Family Practice. Her undergraduate work was done at UNC-Chapel Hill, with a BA in Journalism and Mass Communication. During undergraduate and medical school, she was a professional photographer for athletic events at UNC. She enjoys playing golf, bicycling, playing drums, basketball and traveling in her free time. She has special interests in sports medicine, preventive health care, adolescent medicine, cholesterol and blood pressure. Dr. Carter resides in Wilmington with her husband Frank and son Colin.

It is called NHRMC Connect. NHRMC Connect replaces NHMG’s existing electronic medical record, further enhancing the patient experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
