The friendly staff of NHMG is charged with providing you superior care in a timely fashion. That’s why we have three Wilmington locations. Your time is important to us. You can count on hassle-free visits and convenient care when you need it.

Appointments

To make an appointment, call your desired office during business hours. Business hours for every location are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Same day appointments can be made at any of our offices. Most offices are closed on weekends and holidays.

If you need to cancel an appointment, kindly give us 24-hour notice.

Appointment Cancellation

Effective October 1, 2010

If you fail to notify us by 5:00 PM the day before your appointment you will not be able to keep your appointment you will be charged a $25.00 fee.  You will be financially responsible for the fee.

In Case of an Emergency

In case of an emergency, please call 911. Or, you may call our 24-hour patient emergency number at (910) 343-9991 where you will always be able to reach a doctor on call.

Prescription Refills

If you have a prescription refill, please call your pharmacy and have a drug name, dose and pharmacy number handy. Refill requests usually take two business days.

Payment

At no additional charge to you, we will be pleased to bill your primary insurance carrier after every visit. We participate with Standard Medicare policies, as well as a variety of HMOs, PPOs and other managed health care programs. If we are contracted with your plan, we will collect your co-payment at the time you are seen. If we are not contracted, we collect your deductible and 25% of any remaining charges at the time of service.

If you do not have insurance which will cover treatment by our providers, payment is expected at the time of service.

Patient Privacy

It is standard practice at NHMG to protect the privacy of all our patients. In compliance with HIPPA, we vigorously safeguard personal and health information. This Notice of Health Information Practices describes the personal information we collect as well as how and when we use or disclose that information. It also describes your rights as they relate to your protected health information. Please download a copy of this notice and review it carefully.
