Dr. Boldizar was born and raised in New Jersey.  He graduated with High Honors and a  Bachelor of Science from Rutgers University in 1992.  He received his Doctor of Medicine from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in 1996.  He was inducted as a member of the medical honor society, Alpha Omega Alpha.  He completed his internship and residency at Hunterdon Medical Center in New Jersey.  He then joined Highlands Family Health Center where he practiced medicine for four years before moving to Wilmington, N.C.

Dr. Boldizar and his wife Nanci reside in Wilmington with their two children, Helena and William.
