Dr. Broadbent was born and raised in Honolulu, HI. He did his undergraduate work at the University of Hawaii receiving a B.A. in Biology. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Bowman Gray School of Medicine at Wake Forest University. His residency was completed at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro, NC. He is Board Certified in Family Medicine.

Dr. Broadbent resides with his wife Marty and his two sons, Harrison and Andy,  in Wilmington.
