Dr. Lewis is a native of Beaufort, North Carolina.  He did his undergraduate work at UNC, Chapel Hill, receiving a BS in Science. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from UNC also. His residency was completed at the University of Oregon. He has been practicing in Wilmington for over 25 years, and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine.  He also holds Degrees in French and Latin, and is a worldwide traveler.

Dr. Lewis resides in Wilmington with his wife of over 40 years Libby. They have three children: Tom, Sarah, Mike.
